This year has entered its 27th edition, and the "2014 Taipei Hakka Volunteer Carnival" hosted by the Taipei City Government was held from October 24th to 27th. It is hoped that the carnival will continue the spirit of Hakka loyalty and unity, and showcase the unique side of Hakka culture.

President Xiao Rong was appointed as the Honorary Chairman of this event, and led a group of directors and other representatives from overseas organizations around the world to participate. In order to solidify Hakka compatriots overseas and promote the spirit of the righteous people, our association has been participating for four consecutive years. I hope this event becomes more grand and the number of participants increases year by year.

Starting from Freedom Square, the "Shoulder the Shoulder" street walking activity takes place at the Hakka Cultural Theme Park, where Hakka talent classes and performances are held by students from various primary and secondary schools in Taipei. Upon arrival at the Hakka Cultural Theme Park, there are talent performances from Hakka organizations from both domestic and foreign sources, creating a lively atmosphere. There is also a Hakka cuisine area within the park, allowing participants to taste Hakka cuisine.

After this event, it was successfully concluded with a chorus of "Hakka Nature" and "Hakka World".

During this event, President Xiao Ming led 15 people including Vice President Lai Xinyu, Vice President Zhou Gangsen, Vice President Zhuang Keqin, Secretary General Peng Fulin, Finance Director Peng Dingcai, Deputy Secretary General Zhang Jinkuan, Director Su Yuting, Director Zeng Fuhong, Director Zhang Xiuguang, and Director Jiang Changyan.
