[The 22nd time/Xi'an]
From October 16th to 18th, 2008, a group of 168 Hakka associations from both domestic and foreign countries participated in the event held in Xi'an, Xixi.
Conference activities: International Hakka Academic Seminar, Presidium Meeting, Opening Ceremony of Welcoming Guests to the City, Literature and Art Evening, Tang style Music and Dance, Hometown Report, Investment and Cooperation Lecture, Flag Handover Party, Memorial Ceremony to the Huangling Tomb at one's own expense, Farewell Banquet, Visiting Terra Cotta Warriors and other tourism projects.
The conference decided that the 23rd conference in 2010 will be hosted by the Heyuan Guests Association in Heyuan, Guangdong. In 2011, the 24th session was held by the Guangxi Provincial Federation of Guests in Beihai, Guangxi.
[21st time/Taipei City]
From October 27th to 30th, 2006, it was held at the Taipei Arena and the Shengshi Dynasty Hotel. Domestic and foreign journalists attended the 109th delegation, with more than 15000 villagers participating, and over 700 people from mainland China attending in Taiwan.
The first day welcome event (cocktail party, banquet, evening party) is organized by the Taipei City Government. The Presidium meeting is chaired by the World Federation of Guests. Six special seminars on Hakka elites, tourism, agriculture and forestry, economy and trade, Hakka customs, and Hakka culture are co organized by relevant government departments, with diverse and specific content. After the meeting, visit the natural landscapes and cultural facilities of Zhu and Miao Hakka counties and cities. The closing ceremony and farewell banquet on the 30th will be held by the World Federation of Guests, in accordance with the resolution of the theme group meeting, and the flag will be awarded to the organizer of the 22nd conference in 2008, the Hakka Association of Western Province.
[20th/Chengdu, Sichuan]
From October 12th to 14th, 2005, it was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It was organized by the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Guests, hosted by the Chengdu Municipal Government, and hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Government. More than 3000 guest organizations from various provinces and cities both domestically and internationally participated in the conference. [19th/Ganzhou, Jiangxi]
From October 18th to 20th, 2004, it was held in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, hosted by the Ganzhou Guest Association. The conference was attended by more than 2000 guest affiliated groups from both domestic and foreign countries. Event content: Memorial Altar for Hakka Ancestors and ribbon cutting for the completion of Hakka culture. Academic seminars on Hakka culture, local reports, economic and trade exchanges, visits to Longnan Tuanwu and Navel Orange Garden.
The 18th time in Zhengzhou, Henan Province
From October 26th to 28th, 2003, held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, hosted by the Henan Provincial Federation of Guests. The central, provincial, and municipal governments strongly support and hold the first meeting in the birthplace of Hakka, Zhongyuan, which is of great significance. The grand and magnificent event is rare to see in history. The conference was attended by more than 2000 members from 138 guest groups around the world. The opening ceremony evening party was warmly attended by more than 60000 local villagers, and the Provincial Sports Activity Center fully utilized the entertainment of sound and light beyond time and space, making it impressive. The activities include paying respects to the hometown of the Yellow Emperor, Hakka academic discussions, local reports, economic and trade exchanges, emotional tours of the Yellow River, and exhibitions of historical sites, calligraphy and painting, which are diverse and rich.
[17th/Jakarta]
The conference was held from November 19 to 21, 2002 at the Jakarta International Convention Center in Indonesia. The opening ceremony was presided over by Indonesian Vice President Haz with a gong. Prior to the conference, due to the impact of the Bali explosion, countries from Thailand, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, the UK, France, India, Myanmar, and South America did not send delegations. Only mainland China, Sichuan, Henan, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Liaoning, Kansai, Taiwan, and other groups attended the conference with only over 400 people. The conference resolution was to hold the 18th session in Zhengzhou, Henan Province in 2003. The 19th session was held in Ganzhou, Jiangxi in 2004. The 20th edition was held in Chengdu, Sichuan in 2005.
[16th/Longyan, Fujian]
The opening ceremony was held from November 19th to 21st, 2000 at the Longyan Art, Culture and Sports Center in Fujian Province. The ceremony was grand and attended by leaders from the central and provincial levels. More than 20000 local Hakka children performed arts, culture, folk songs and dances at the meeting, with an unprecedented and enthusiastic atmosphere, which may be difficult to continue in the future.
The 15th/Kuala Lumpur
The event was held from November 4th to 7th, 1999 at the Sunway Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Friendship Conference was originally held every two years, and the 14th Friendship Conference was held in Taipei. Malaysia and mainland Fujian and West China have actively and enthusiastically sought to host it. Therefore, it has been decided to hold the 15th and 16th conferences once a year. However, in addition to the opening ceremony of the conference, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir personally delivered a speech and took a photo with the conference presidium, there are also a series of activities such as Hakka art exhibitions, Hakka academic seminars, and economic and trade cooperation discussions. The event was attended by a delegation of 300 people led by Honorary President Rao Yingqi, Vice President of the Court, and more than 2000 local residents participated in the grand event.
The 14th time/Taipei City
The conference was held from October 6th to 8th, 1998 at the State Guesthouse Hotel in Taipei City and the Zhongshan Tower in Yangming Mountain. There were 572 people from 32 overseas groups, 945 people from 3 domestic groups, 380 volunteers, and 180 distinguished guests. A total of 2077 people attended the grand event, including a welcome banquet, art and cultural exhibitions, opening ceremony, special discussions (Hakka culture, agriculture and forestry technology, and praising loyalty and righteousness), a Hakka night, a gala dinner, a Hsinchu Yimin Temple, and tourism in Xihu Village, Miaoli. In addition to passing a letter of respect to fellow Hakka people around the world, the conference has also decided to hold the next meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is also suggested that Mr. Sun Yat sen's birthday be designated as the Hakka Culture Festival.
[Thirteenth/Singapore]
The 13th World Hakka Family Friendship Conference was held from November 9 to 12, 1996 at the Singapore International Convention Center. Nearly 2000 Hakka family members from five continents participated, and the largest delegation of 415 members from the Republic of China Hakka organization participated in the conference. The event includes an exhibition on the origins of Hakka culture, a Hakka study seminar, an opening ceremony, a Hakka night, a Hakka food tasting event, and a gala dinner. The conference decided to hold the next (14th) heartfelt ceremony in Taipei in 1998.
[Twelfth time/Meizhou City, Guangdong Province]
The Twelfth World Friendship Conference was grandly held in Meizhou City from December 6th to 8th, 1994. More than 2300 representatives from over 30 countries and regions across five continents, as well as international cultural, political, and business figures, domestic and foreign journalists, and representatives from various provincial and municipal guest associations, participated in the grand event. The scale and level of the conference are unprecedented in all previous sincere meetings. The conference grandly opened on December 6th, with the main venue located at the Baihuazhou Cinema. The sub venues, grand banquet, and opening ceremony were held at the Municipal Government Guesthouse, Wangjianglou Hotel, and Sports Stadium, respectively. VIP guests gathered, and the local culture was full of enthusiasm. From beginning to end, the arrangements were comprehensive and orderly, and it was highly praised by guests at home and abroad.
[Eleventh/Kaohsiung City]
The 11th Congress was originally scheduled to be held in Hong Kong, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it was changed to be held in Kaohsiung City, hosted by the World Guests Association. It was held from October 6th to 8th, 1992, at the State Guests Hotel and Kaohsiung Cultural Center. The office of the preparatory committee was located at 16 Wufu Fourth Road, Kaohsiung City. A total of 2500 people reported to the preparatory committee and formed a group to participate. President Lee Teng hui delivered a congratulatory speech and Prime Minister Goh of the Republic of Singapore sent a congratulatory letter.
[Tenth/Sabah]
The conference was held from June 8th to 10th, 1990 in Apia, the capital of Sabah, Malaysia. More than 70 units from around the world formed groups to participate, with 1500 representatives attending. The conference was hosted by the Sabah Federation of Hakka Associations, and the President of the Republic of China, Mr. Lee Teng hui, delivered a speech titled "Unity, Love, and Sincerity". The Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, delivered a speech titled "Rural Associations Must Meet Requirements", and representatives from various regions expressed their hometown sentiments. The conference passed a proposal to strengthen the promotion of Hakka culture and cultural exchange
Flow, various guest groups should hold more winter or summer camps; 2. Strengthen research on Hakka culture to understand ethnic history, culture, and population disclosure; 3. Release World Communications. In the International Night, various units provide exciting programs to boost the fun. Hakka traditional culture - mountain songs, stand out alone, and the World Hakka Association Mountain Song Troupe, Malaysia Mountain Song Troupe, and Meizhou Mountain Song Troupe perform enthusiastically, creating an unprecedented spectacle. In addition, there were seminars, tourism visits, and other activities that were very successful.
[Ninth/San Francisco]
This conference was hosted by the five major guest organizations in San Francisco, United States. It was held from October 21 to 22, 1988 at the Church Peak Hotel in San Francisco, with 458 representatives from 31 guest organizations from around the world attending. The conference was the first to invite a mainland group to participate. Resolution of the conference: 1. Regardless of the number of villagers in different regions, it is necessary to establish organizations (clubs) as much as possible and notify the World Federation of Guests of the organization content (name, address, phone number, responsible person, and cadre name, etc.), so as to compile a contact list and distribute it to various local clubs for communication purposes. 2. The World Federation of Guests should become a contact service center for all global compatriots. In order to expand participation and strengthen services, the association should hire highly respected and enthusiastic individuals as consultants, guiding committee members, honorary chairman, or vice chairman. 3. The flag of the World Federation of Guests is also the flag of the World Federation of Guests, but HKA English characters should be added under the Earth pattern. The association is authorized by the association to produce and submit it to the next conference for approval. 4. The World Association of Hakka Families should establish institutions to promote Hakka culture, in order to strengthen and expand Hakka culture. At the same time, a resolution enforcement agency should also be established to thoroughly implement the resolution and report the implementation to the next meeting. 5. The attending representatives unanimously agreed that the 17th Hakka Family Congress would be held in Sabah, Malaysia in 1990, to be organized by the Association of Hakka Families in Sabah.
[Eighth/Mauritius]
This conference was jointly organized by guest groups from Mauritius and Reunion Island, and was held from May 19th to 22nd, 1986 at the Gandhi College Hall in the city of Male (the capital of Mauritius). It was attended by 210 representatives from 15 groups around the world.
[Seventh time/Taipei City]
This conference was organized by the World Federation of Guests and held from October 7th to 9th, 1984 at the Huanya Hotel on Dunhua North Road in Taipei. It was attended by 974 representatives from 48 guest groups from around the world.
The resolution of the conference: 1. The World Hakka Family Friendship Conference should be based on the Hakka spirit of freedom and justice, as well as the virtues of diligence and frugality, and should not be overly extravagant or extravagant. 2. Local Hakka associations and various sectors should provide strong support for the human and financial resources required by the hosting unit to promote the spirit of unity and cooperation. 3. It is stipulated that in the future, regardless of whether groups or individuals attend the conference, they should pay to attend the conference. Any enthusiastic sponsor should also establish a method to praise them. 4. The conference [journal] must be compiled and printed by the hosting unit, distributed to various Hakka groups for commemoration.
[Sixth/Bangkok]
This conference was organized by the Thai Guest Association and held from September 25th to 26th, 1982 at the Narai Hotel in Bangkok. 1352 representatives from 70 guest groups from around the world participated.
[Fifth/Japan]
The conference was held from October 3rd to 7th, 1980 in Tokyo (Pacific Hotel) and Osaka (Hakata Hotel), Japan. It was hosted by the Japan Chongzheng Association and attended by 1100 representatives from 33 groups around the world.
[Fourth/San Francisco]
This conference was hosted by the San Francisco Presbyterian Church in the United States and was held from September 29 to October 2, 1978 in San Francisco (Queen's Hotel). Twenty five guest groups from around the world, with 820 representatives, participated in the conference. The resolution was that in order to maintain the traditional and inherent language accent of the guest community, all guest gatherings should use Hakka language to speak, in order to continue the spirit of the guest community tradition.
[Third time/Taipei City]
Due to changes in Thailand's national conditions at the time, the Third Sincere Kiss Conference was taken over by the World Association of Guests. It was held from October 7th to 9th, 1976 at Zhongshan Hall on Yanping South Road in Taipei City, with 1352 representatives from 61 organizations from around the world participating.
[Second time/Taipei City]
The conference was held from October 5th to 8th, 1973 at Zhongshan Hall on Yanping South Road in Taipei City. The conference was hosted by the Central Plains Hakka Association and attended by 2400 representatives from 67 Hakka communities around the world. The conference decided to establish the World Hakka Association in Taipei City, and recommended Xue Yue, Zhang Fakui, Huang Guoshu, Liu Kuocai, Weng Ling, and others to prepare and initiate work to promote the unity of Hakka families. Through the flag and emblem design of the World Hakka Association, it was also decided to invite the Thai Hakka Association to organize the third conference.
[First time/Hong Kong]
The Hong Kong Chung Chung Association, celebrating its 50th anniversary and the completion of the Chung Chung Building, specially invited 250 representatives from over 40 guest organizations from around the world to hold a celebration event on September 28, 1971 at the "International Showerhouse" on Nathan Road in Kowloon, Hong Kong and the "Hong Kong Chung Chung Chung Association" auditorium located in Happy Valley. The resolution of the attending representatives at the conference is to designate this conference as the "World First Friendship Conference". Require rotation in major cities around the world every two years
