During the winter solstice, we adhere to the principle of "inheriting Hakka cuisine and promoting Hakka culture". On December 16th, our association held a grand "2017 Winter Solstice Hakka Food Festival" event at Humen Flower World Horticultural Company. The guests attending the event included Mr. Xie Qingyuan, the Guangdong District Mayor of the National Taiwan Enterprise Federation, Mr. Zeng Jianhuang, the Executive Vice President of the Dongguan Municipal Taiwan Association, Mr. Xiao Mingren, the President of the Humen Taiwan Business Branch (the founding president of our association), Mr. Lai Jianchun, the Executive Vice President of the Chang'an Taiwan Business Branch, Ms. Dai Cai Baolian, the President of the Seventh District Women's Federation, and representatives from the Dapu Chamber of Commerce.

The event venue is bustling and lively. This year, we have adopted a semi self-service dining format, with conference officials serving members to avoid overcrowding during meal pick-up. The activity table of this winter solstice food festival opened 40 tables, and there were Hakka rice dumpling, Ciba, Hakka braised chicken, Hakka steamed buns, fried Fengshun dishes sponsored and produced by members and villagers at the scene Waiting for nearly 30 unique Hakka cuisine. Members and fellow villagers also brought unique talent performances to this event. The event was a complete success in an atmosphere of joy for both guests and hosts!
