In December 2012, the board meeting was held at the Chang'an Taiwan Business Association, and all members of the board were enthusiastic and joined in. Mr. Xu Lijie, former head of Xinfeng Township, Hsinchu County, was proposed by Vice President Xi Keqin as the honorary advisor of the association. The proposal was unanimously approved by the members of the board of directors.
Mr. Xu Lijie delivered an enthusiastic speech in Hakka language at the meeting, showing great enthusiasm for the preservation and inheritance of Hakka culture. President Xiao warmly welcomed Mr. Xu Lijie to join the Dongguan Hakka Business Association with applause.
