The once in a year Hakka event, the World Hakka Family Friendship Conference, was grandly held in Hsinchu, Taiwan from October 16th to 18th this year, lasting for three days.
Hsinchu County is the ancestral home of our Hakka people, who migrated eastward to Taiwan in the early days and gathered a large number of villagers. It is a pure Hakka stronghold. After two to three hundred years of reproduction, it still preserves the complete Hakka culture, customs, language They are truly precious and precious!
This time, President Xiao led a delegation to Taiwan to participate in the grand event. More than 40 people enthusiastically participated in the large-scale evening party - "Guest Night". That night, there were 700-8000 representatives from Hakka groups around the world. Hakka leaders from all over the country gathered in Hsinchu, traveling thousands of miles. Opening 700 to 800 tables at the banquet can be described as unprecedented and unparalleled in history. Everyone is of the same culture, same kind, and same language, and their early ancestors all came from the Central Plains, feeling very friendly and warm towards each other.
In addition, our team also participated in a series of activities planned by the organizer, which were both dynamic and reserved. We tasted Hakka cuisine, wandered around the small town of Kezhuang, talked about our long lost villagers, and gathered together to enjoy the happiness of the world and the family.
This trip has truly impressed all members of my team. I have gained a lot, and my family is full. I will remember it in my heart! I deeply feel the steadfast spirit of unity, righteousness, love for my hometown, and patriotism among us Hakka people.
